Kivrin doesn’t use a pacifier, but she does indulge in thumb, or fist, or knuckle, finger sucking when she needs to soothe herself.

Hurray for no pacifiers! We purposely didn’t give Elisebeth any pacifiers, just because they fall out and whatnot and it’s hard to break that habit. Most thumbsuckers quit on their own because they learn other ways to self-soothe.
I will say, Elisebeth never much liked her thumb either. She was particularly partial to mommy’s boobs as soothers.
